In the MTN8 Final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially announced the date and venue.
STATEMENT OF THE PSL:
The hosting rights for the 2024/25 MTN8 final attracted widespread interest, with proposals submitted by various provinces, including Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Mpumalanga. In a special EXCO meeting this afternoon, the PSL Executive Committee evaluated the rights and considered input from the sponsor in order to award them to KwaZulu-Natal.
At Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, Orlando Pirates will play Stellenbosch FC in the highly anticipated MTN8 final on Saturday, 05 October 2024. PSL will announce the kick-off time, ticketing, and other logistical arrangements in due course.
A live home-and-away draw for the final will take place on Monday, 16 September 2024 at 20h30 on SuperSport PSL Channel (202).
