Bongokuhle Hlongwane put up a five-star display, scoring a brace as Minnesota United recorded their first away win in nearly four months.
They beat San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 in this one, the second time they have beaten them this season.
For very different reasons, Hlongwane, Wil Trapp, and Hassani Dotson stood out on Sunday morning.
But it was the Bafana Bafana star's goals that sealed the win for Eric Ramsay's side.
In starting him over Teemu Pukki and Tani Oluwaseyi, Hlongwane repaid coach Ramsay's faith.
