Bradley Cross has been the latest signing that Kaizer Chiefs spent money on in bringing to the club in this window.Following all the transfer decisions that have contributed towards the club’s longest trophy wait, Kaizer Chiefs have not shied away from dipping their hands into their pockets in this window.
The latest window, which closes in a fortnight, has had Amakhosi bring in a new coach in Nasreddine Nabi, plus seven new signings. Chiefs have had to negotiate transfer fees for Cross, Miguel, Dortley, Ntwari and Sam, while Blom has returned on a loan deal.Cross cost R3 million, while the price tags for Dortley, Ntwari and Miguel each cost at least double what Golden Arrows got for the 23-year-old, who has been to England and Germany.The estimate for the Naturena-based side’s transfer bill in this window is now at R25 million.
