In the Eastern Cape's third-tier league, Gqeberha United bought the status of Amampondo United ahead of the 2024/25 season.
As the new season approaches, the Gqeberha-based outfit has already begun its pre-season under Gwambi's tutelage.
At the end of the season, the club hopes to qualify for the national playoffs.
