Orlando Pirates star Olisa Ndah has successfully worked his way back into the Nigeria national team fold.

Here is a clip of Orlando Pirates star Olisah Ndah seemingly being put on the spot by one of his Nigeria teammates.

This is the story

For most of the past decade, there has been a fierce rivalry between the Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana in football.

Last time the two nations met in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the match ended in a 1-1 draw in Nigeria, and the home side were left disappointed as they lost their following qualifier 2-1 to Benin.

During the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, Nigeria overcame Mzansi via a penalty shootout, thanks to Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali's heroics.

Several people in Nigeria died after watching the match due to heart-related issues as the game provided end-to-end fireworks.

Clearly, when Nigeria and Bafana meet, it is more than just a rivalry, as pride is often also at stake.

Now that Pirates captain Ndah has been re-called to the national team after he was snubbed from the 2023 AFCON squad, it appears that some of his teammates have been bantering about where he plays.

The AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze appears to be teasing Ndah over the fact that he plays in South Africa in a video posted by journalist Austin Ditlhobolo on X. WATCH:

Ndah recently admitted he is open to moving to Europe, even though he feels fulfilled at Pirates.

According to Goal, Ndah said: "I am happy where I am, but I am open to any opportunity that comes my way.".

With three consecutive MTN8 cup final appearances under his belt, the 26-year-old has started every match for the Buccaneers this season.
