Former South African captain Portia Modise appeals to fans to help her retrieve her car after it was hijacked outside her Soweto home.
The video clip Modise posted on Instagram shows her being held up at gunpoint by "boys" who took her phone and keys.
According to the Portia Modise Foundation, the former Banyana Banyana star remains shaken.
As the first African footballer to score 100 goals, Modise retired from the game in 2015.
During the incident, Modise, 41, says she wasn't physically injured.
When I arrived home... some guys pointed firearms at me and hijacked me... I'm not OK, but I'm grateful for life."
As she continues, she gives the registration details of her stolen vehicle, urging people to contact her if they see it.
"If anyone has seen this car, it's a blue Polo Golf, that's mine," she says.
The video has received an overwhelming response from fans, but the car has not yet been found.
As a 16-year-old in 2000, she made her international debut for Banyana Banyana and went on to make a record number of appearances.
She was nominated for the Fifa Player of the Year award in 2005 and won the African Women's Championship Player of the Tournament award in 2006.
Since then, she has moved into coaching.
