England interim boss Lee Carsley says he aims to entertain the supporters heading to Wembley on Tuesday night for the Nations League game against Finland.
Carsley oversaw a 2-0 victory away to Republic of Ireland in his first game in charge on Saturday and says an attacking approach will be deployed back in London.
Carsley's predecessor Gareth Southgate was often criticised for the style of football England played under his management but the interim boss intends to free up the players this week.
"I want to see us playing with control. It's important we're exciting to watch," he said. "When fans come to watch England at home they expect attacking football, chances created and to play with a tempo."
Carsley rejected the idea that entertaining football was a 'responsibility' of the job but added: "I like watching attacking football, I like coaching it.
"I made a decision when I started coaching that's how I want my teams to play, outscore the opposition regardless of the state of the game.
"Obviously, it's entertainment as well so you want to create as many chances as you can.
"That's my responsibility, not stifling the players with information - and getting the best out of them."
