Almost immediately, the visitors almost dealt the first blow when Liam Delap picked up a yellow card for diving in Austria's box.
When England conceded a free-kick on the edge of the area, Austria's Christoph Lang curled his effort around the wall, forcing James Beadle to tip it around the post.

McAtee went through on goal before the Manchester City defender forced the foul out of Nikolas Polster with quick footwork to win a penalty after his pocket was picked by a pressure-inviting pass from his keeper.
Aston Villa's Rogers, who hadn't been called up by Lee Carsley for his senior squad, took the responsibility, and he fired his effort into the roof of the net to give England a 1-0 lead.
A mix-up at the back undid England's hard work, as Austria scored a sublime long-range goal after an error at the back.
The skipper Taylor Harwood-Bellis fired a fizzing pass into Alex Scott's feet from behind. As Ballo was set up nicely to curl his shot past the motionless Beadle into the bottom right corner for 1-1, the usually reliable midfielder mishandled his touch and was bullied to the ground.
In the second half, England regained the lead quickly.
Iling-Junior played a no-look pass into the feet of McAtee, who instinctively flicked Rogers into space. The winger whipped his effort into the far right-hand corner in clinical fashion to grab his second.
Also scoring for Man City was James McAtee

When McAtee scored himself, his dominant display went into overdrive. Rogers was heavily involved, jinking away from his marker and unleashing Lewis Hall on the overlap before his low cross hit McAtee on the volley, and he steered his strike into the bottom right corner.
The fourth goal was scored by substitute Fellows after Hall reproduced his earlier delivery in the 81st minute.
Rogers is hailed as a "top talent" by Futcher
"We were better in the second half. We were disappointed to go into half-time one apiece because we missed many clear-cut chances.
In the second half, we were ruthless, it could've been more, it was an excellent performance and there are some smiling faces in there. We stepped up, were more ruthless, and got a deserved four goals."
Our football was good, we moved the ball across the pitch well, we were patient when necessary and we created some good chances. Our players expressed themselves and that is what I asked of them.
The team has some top talent and Morgan is one of them. It's great to see him on the scoresheet - he was excellent but so were other players as well.
