In the first half of Netherlands' Nations League game against Germany, Nathan Ake was stretchered off due to an injury scare for Pep Guardiola and Man City.
On 45 minutes, Jurrien Timber replaced the defender just before half-time.
Since the beginning of the season, Ake has only made one substitute appearance for City and played just three minutes of football.
Josko Gvardiol has started all three Premier League games for City on the left side of defence, with Manuel Akanji and Rico Lewis as backups.
